The tortoise was found on a trail at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. He’s really small, about 3 inches long on the shell. He was alone but there are other tortoises in the garden. The one named Patch was found in the parking lot with a hole in his shell several years ago. They patched it with fiberglass, released him in the garden and he is occasionally seen around the garden.
