Mariposa Monarca at the Desert Botanical Garden

Posted by VT Jenny on September 29, 2008

The Monarch Butterfly Exhibit, Mariposa Monarca has opened at the Desert Botanical Garden. It will be open until November 2nd, 2008. Come enjoy the gardens and make sure to see the butterflies. Watch for the Queen Butterfly (Danaus gilippus) out in the gardens. It looks like the Monarch (Danaus plexippus) but is a little bit different. There is one hiding among the photos of Monarchs on this page. Do you see it? If not check out the links after the photos to learn the differences.
